MP Safety Management is accredited with Comcare Australia and works with the Seacare Authority in the Australian shipping industry. MP Safety Management provides rehabilitation services to ASP Ship Management, TeeKay Shipping, BHP Billiton, Inco Ships, Offshore Marine, Coogee Resources, Trident Shipping, Adsteam Marine and CSR Shipping.

Since 1996, MP Safety Management has been working with injured seafarers and has developed many rehabilitation and return to work programs. In 2004 the Seacare Authority introduced their first Seacare Conference and Awards and MP Safety Management was nominated and won Best Rehabilitation and Return to Work Program “Category” for 2004.

In 2006 MP Safety Management was nominated twice for this award and again successfully won Best Rehabilitation and Return to Work Program “Category” for 2006. MP Safety Management also received an encouragement award for this “Category”. MP Safety Management participated as a bronze sponsor and Melanie Parker-Doney was invited to participate as a speaker at this conference.
