Director, Workplace Occupational Therapist

Melanie established MP Safety Management in 1997 with the aim of providing excellence in workplace based rehabilitation. She has worked extensively with the shipping industry, and has assisted companies such as BHP Billiton, ASP, Inco Ships, Teekay Shipping and Adsteam Marine to develop and implement injury management strategies.

Melanie’s aim for MP Safety Management is to provide a small Workplace Based Rehabilitation Provider focusing on partnership development with our customers. Melanie as a Manager fosters relationships with customers and consultants, providing a workplace that encourages innovation and commitment, our staff turnover is therefore very low.

Melanie is an AS4801 Certified Safety Systems Auditor and Ergonomist. She specialises in the development of Injury Management Systems in workplaces, ergonomic assessments, auditing and workplace manual handling training.

• Safety Systems Auditor NSCA Accredited 4801
